This should be the second post in the thread.  Trip information is on the second post, please look there.

We want to camp with you and I know that weekend it will be killing me not to be camping, but it is too far to go after work on Friday night[:@].  We can t get there before check in time is done for the night and you can t get a one night reservation for the campground either[:@][:@], so I guess we will miss out on this trip.

Well I was able to get May 7th off so we will  :) be joining you.  We will be on site 170 where we were last May.  Can't wait to see everyone.  :W

Well, Blaise's vacation scheduling book finally came out today. I'm hoping to get him to take Friday, May 7th off so we can possibly make this outing.  :)

tlhdoc

Andy it will be nice to see you again.

Kathy that is what I did.  I just hope we can get to the campground before they close for the night.  I have to wait until school is out to leave and we have 250 miles to travel.

copcarguy

Hey all!

I am glad we are getting more people for this trip.  All the paving should be done by the time we're there!  Maybe we can find someone with a working GPS and we can finally find that plane crash...

Andy - that wind sure can whip up off that lake huh??  ;)

Tracy,
My last trip up I arrived late and Chris was travelling about 30 min behind me with the popup. The rangers weren't happy about it but they let me register for both of us and let him in (around 10pm I think). Luckily the rangers planned to be around in the office at that time. I think it helped that I told them we were camping with friends so no one would be complaining about us setting up late. If you're running late, I'd suggest calling them and telling them you're stuck in traffic and will be arriving a little late (stress you're coming from quite a distance). I found them very nice to deal with.

Looks like I may not make this trip after all but Chris will. Seems Courtney's college course is starting next Saturday and she can't miss any classes since instead of having 15 weeks, this is an accelerated schedule (only 8 Saturday classes ). I'm hoping she can get special permission to miss one class to take her SATs. The professor isn't used to having highschool kids in the class so hopefully he'll consider SATs a valid excuse. Anyway, it seems all the PUT trips fall on the weekends that Courtney has classes so I plan to come to the April PA trip and Chris will do the N-S trip.

Oh man, only ONE Wade per trip??  :(  I feel like we're getting ripped off here.  I paid the bill for TWO Wades per trip.  I think I want to talk to the manager.  ;) :p

DiW

HaHa Rick. This is the way it goes when you have a 17yo daughter. Not ready to leave her home alone yet for a weekend (especially since her boyfriend is in the same Sat class). It wouldn't be worth coming up after class coz we wouldn't arrive til late afternoon and checkout is 11am on Sun. Oh well, another time.

Oh Di but you could come up to have dinner with us.  How could you sit at home Saturday night knowing that we are all huddled around the campfire at Rick's site, watching the grill in the fire ring melt because the fire is so hot, taking about you.  ;)  :p

copcarguy

Well it's almost a month after you typed your last post Tracy, and I just came across it...  It definitely put a smile on my face!  You know it's been my goal for years to melt that entire grille off.  Didn't we manage to get the bottom strip to fall off??  I don't remember what started the "melt off" but everytime I'm on 171 it's my goal.  Thanks for a mid-winter camping memory.  I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TRIP!

kathybrj - Was Blaise able to get May 7th off??  It would be great to see you guys again.

Still waiting to see, rick. I would love to get out to this one, but with work still going on the house, it's tough to say at this point. I'm pushing for it though!

We have a new member going on this trip.  It is jazman and his DW.  They will be on site 176. :)
