 I have 1.5 hours of a drive taking DW back home this Thursday. How should I proceed with the torture ?
 
 a ) Tell her it did not go thru
 b ) Tell her it went very well thanks to my biker friends
 c ) Take her luggage (read gifts)  home and leave her at the airport
 d ) Tell her the date for my court appearance
 e ) Thank her for all the help with a sarcastic voice
 
 All additional options are welcome Please do not suggest solutions which require open flames and such [8D][8D][8D]

 Tell her that everything to do from now on is up to her - you re going camping!!

Get your-self a mp3 player.  Load it with 1.5hrs worth of songs put on the dead phones when you pick her up turn it on and all you ll hear is music all the way home[8D]

1.  Give her a big hug and kiss
 2.  Tell her you really missed her (you did, you missed having her home to sign papers)
 3.  Tell her if she pulls a stunt like that again, you are moving the family into an old school bus[]
 4.  Tell her you love her (it is always good to end on a positive note)

I will just ignore the subject completeley and give her a stare when she asks and keep driving. I think that is the best method to handle it in front of the kids. DS will get his MP3 player which we can plug into the car s audio system, and we will listen to the songs we like, she might not particulalrly like those songs [][][] Especially not after travelling for 25 hours. []

Periodically, just put in " Hey Honey"  when she answers, say " OH never mind"  or " I forgot what I was going to say" .  Just do it often enough to keep her from sleeping on the way home[][][]

I wouldn t torture her to bad - remember, you miss her too and it s awful hard to cuddle by yourself!!  When my DH goes away for a few days, I don t care if he ever speaks, as long as he kisses me a great lotl! [][]  I think I would put off telling her about the house for a short time, but in all likelihood you will end up looking like a BIG hero for all the work you ve done.  She must remember how it was before when you closed on the other house and you saved her all that.  Your a good man, just remember to be modest! []
