tlhdocCamping season is over for us!!! Now we re waiting for the snow to fly! Actually we re spending this time looking at the " dark side"  so we can figure out what to purchase for our next RV. Have fun camping!

Miller Tyme

tlhdocNot this weekend, but next weekend, final weekend for us. Halloween weekend for the kids.[:D]
Had a great time last weekend at the Wis. chapter GLPUC meet, met a great bunch of people from WI, IL, and IO. Hopefully, we ll get out more next year.[8D]

 tlhdoctlhdoc,

Well we were but they closed the park down. Looks like next trip is to Gettysburg at Roundtop Camp Grounds the first weekend in Oct.[:)]. We are trying to stay out camping as long as we can. It is a long winter if you know what I mean.[:)]

tlhdoc10/3-10/6 we re going to be at Jamaica State Park in VT. We ll be heading for Stratton Mountain ffor the Brewfest and Lumberjack competitions. Hopefully, the leaves will still be changing! [:D]

garym053

tlhdocHi Kathy, The leaves should be pretty nice about then (probably not quite peak except maybe in the higher elevations!) around Stratton Mtn & Jamaica SP! They are no where near peak here in Central VT yet. They had a little more color about 50 miles north of here this past weekend. It will still be very beautiful, especially if the days are bright! Have fun!

Well Whitestar you could always join us at Hickory Run.

Papaso

tlhdocWe re headed to Lake Kissimmee about 3.5 hours northwest of Miami can t wait to head out. Wish we were headed to Hickory Run though, Hickory Run was my favorite place to camp when we lived in Jersey. I only tent camped there and we re hoping to put together a trip with the popup for next August to visit friends and family in Elizabeth NJ and King of Prussia PA. Hickory Run will be one of our stops, both my DD s have seen pictures of the boulder field and are looking forward to see it in person. I miss that area I loved growing up there but FL. has it s good points too, like year round camping.[:)] Have a great time, hope the weathers good.

tlhdoc

tlhdocThanks for the good wishes.  The boulder field is really something different.  Maybe we can put a trip together when you will be here.

Papaso

tlhdocThanks we would enjoy that very much, waiting to see what s happening with the Eastern Rally hopefully we can do a couple, three week trip and show the DD s  some more of the country. The furthest north they ve been since they were babies was a couple trips up to NC and Tn.
 Happy Camping

Turn Key

tlhdocWas suppose to have headed out early yesterday (Wednesday) morning and returned about noon Friday.  Then I found out I had to be in court Wednesday[&:].  Could have gone to court and still gone camping but then I got sick[:@][:@][:@]!  Still made it to court but no camping.  It s now Thursday evening and this the first time I ve felt half way alive for the last 4 days.

 Oh, well.  Maybe next week.

Gone-Camping

tlhdocI d love to, but it s just too far to go for a weekend. Besides, I ve been more or less camping for the last seven days, and plan on putting all that camping equipment back in the trailer this weekend!!!!! [8D]

cyclone

tlhdocI m camping this week-end, too!  But, like Cliff says, Hickory Run is just a little too far for a week-end.[;)]  We are combining a visit to my sister s with a camping trip.  Have fun!
