Do you quality or quantity? I think we stay on subject longer with fewer posts. I wasn t sure about the fees at first but it s nice here.
 
 I do think there are too many forums though. Hey Dave, why not kill some of the slow forums and replace them with new topics?

Yes, we are an experienced group of Popuppers but that doesn t mean we will all be in Popups forever.  Some of us just don t have time to post as much anymore.  I have tried to check in here as often as possible but my time has become very limited for this activity.  I was given a gift membership subscription and sincerely thank the one who gave it to me...therefore, I do try to post as often as possible to add some of my humor whenever I can.  I guess my cookie baking skills are getting a bit rusty.[8D][8D][8D][][][]

It seems to me that people should recognize two things that haven t been mentioned.
 
 The first is " The Newness Factor" .  When someone gets something new, they use it ALOT initially then use tapers off...often because they find something else new.  That s a cycle, and it s a cycle people go through very quickly in the Internet and computer world.
 
 Second, we should recognize that in the world of on-line communities, " the people in the community define the community."   Thus on-line communities that are highly technical attract highly technical people; and those that are conversational attract conversational people.  It s my opinion that the PUT community is made or is making that transition...and it probably coincided with the decision to charge for posting on the boards.
 
 Why did it change?  I can only speak for myself, but when I started usingt the board, I was new to PU camping so read the board all the time and answered questions as I could to " pay back"  for the knowledge I gained and for the used of the board.
 
 Now I pay in advance for the use of the board, so I don t feel as compelled to scan every topic to answer every question.

Maybe the ones over there who do the most posting just consider themselves beyond being a " clique" . The ones there who whine the most are also the ones with the most posts! LOL

 These types of comments are exactly what keep me away from this board, gosh forbid if someone likes something different then yourself! According to my calculations PUX has 25 pages of double digit posts, with 25 members per page, that s 625 members who have posted ten times or more. PUT has 15 pages of double digit posts, with 20 membes per page, + 15 members on page 16 with double digit posts, that s 315 members who have posted ten times or more. But in the end does it really matter? Will this drivel attract new members, or keep members? I don t think so.........

    This board to me is like camping in a camp grounds. You treat everyone with respect and they in turn do the same. What a dull world this would be if we all agreed and did the same things at the same time. What do you say that we all agree that we can disagree without anger. Live and let live and be nice about it. Flattery will get you everywhere and being negative will burn the bridges behind you. So Respect is the key. If you have something to say, then say it. If not don t complain because someone is posting more than most. Besides who cares...
 
  If you are someone who wants to complain about something just be sure that it is worth while. " Anger is never without a reason, but seldom with a good one"
