Jo AnnPalomino has made those for I m guessing 3 years?

Sounds like a heck of a price though. Compared to what I see being quoted for other brands.

Jo Annyeah i thought so too...its a bit small but for a couple not too bad...although i would rather have a queen bed.  the guy was just escatic over it...[:)]

SactoCampers

Jo AnnIt was either the Stampede 15 or 17. I m guessing the 17 since you said it had a full bath (i.e. not a wet bath). The front bed is actually almost a queen. The price is pretty good. A little lower than I would expect, but not unheard of. Their Stampede series goes back at least to 2001 model year, but I m pretty sure they go back further than that. So it s not a Forest River product.

Jo Annthanx for the info sacto...it may have been a 17 footer...almost a queen isn t bad...he said it weighs about 2500 pounds and was pulling it with a smaller toyota truck wihtout problems.

Jo AnnOur hybrid is the Palomino Stampede 235SL.  It has the queen pop-out, three bunks in the back for the kidlets, a slide-out sleeper sofa plus all the other bells and whistles.  I m totally satisfied with the Palomino and think the quality of cabintrey, clothe and fixtures are top notch, for example when I would open a Jayco cupboard, the door would resinate, the Palomino does not.

Jo Annwhat does the inside end of a hybrid look like if you decide not to put up the bunk end?????  You don t have to right?  you can leave it unset up???

Depends on the Hybrid.
Some Hybrids have sliding rails, similar to a Popup.
The Coleman Hybrids have a complete hard sidex box section that slides in and out.
Most other Hybrids have a folding section, that in the closed position, covers the opening, but in the open position is the flat portion your matress lies on.
The advantage of this is it does not eat into the interior space, and yes could be kept closed if required.
I have one very small interior picture with the bunk closed on my webpage

WE can still use the dinette, or could even use it as a beb if we wanted, especially if we arrived at a campground and it was raining.

Jo AnnMy floor plan and Quigs are very similar.  Our trailer has three interior bunk beds that do not fold out.  The sofa and dinette both convert to sleeping area s very easily so if we wanted to " turtle"  we could.  The bunk end folds up, it does not push in so there is no interior space used when it s closed.  I used this feature early this year when we could see the rain coming across the lake, it was about 8am, I in my PJ s simply pushed the bunk end up, tightened the screws and the kids and I could stay in the trailer with lot s of space to spare.  then around 1pm, when we finished closing up, the canvas was dry. Our slide out sofa bed is electric, it opens and closes with the push of a button and there is no cavas so it can open in close at any time.

Jo Annhmmm...hybrids look pretty good if they fold up...woujldn t want them to slide in and out like a popup if i was gonna go the hybrid route.
