forestwalkerThe only price I have to pay for storing the PU,  is less space in the garage[:)]

forestwalkerSo far (know on wood), we ve been able to keep it in our driveway.  If this does become a problem, we have a few friends with lots that I hope we will get a good rate.

forestwalkerWe keep the PU in a neighbors garage.  It cost us, cleaning the garage, carrying the trash can out 52 times a year and then putting it back.  Clearing a very large driveway (even thought the owner has no car) every time it snows, helping the neighbor get up when she falls (2am I m not doing anything important), opening stuck drawers, buying groceries, checking on the neighbor when the power goes out, changing light bulbs, reading taxes and other important mail to the neighbor, etc.  We have done all of the above for years.  We have only had the PU in the garage for one year.

Who said chivalry is dead -- if I had the opportunity to do little things for a neighbor, it would just be a great feeling.  I just like to help people.

QuoteDo you pay to store your pop up ?

 Yup.

QuoteWhat does it cost to do so ?

Counting natural gas, electric, water, insurance, and other related fees, it s enough to buy me a house!

But at least we get to sleep there. [;)]

forestwalkerI store my camper outside at a storage facility and it costs me $20/month.

Starryart

forestwalkerSame here! At a storage facility for $25 /month. We have 3 cars and there is not enough room in our garage as it is.

forestwalkerOne of the things that we love about our popup is that it fits in our garage--barely,  but it fits.

whitestar505

forestwalkerIt cost me $15.00 per month. Fifteen is not bad would like it inside.

birol

whitestar505Ours will be in the garage ! YUMMYYYYY !

EZCamper

forestwalkerA nice man near my neighborhood is offering the space around his house which is quite vast for a low cost of 5$/month.

Nice and I don t mind leaving it outside. It s already been 3 winters now.

forestwalkerWe were going to store the Pu since we are showing the house.  One place that was about an hour a way wanted $40/month, which was the cheapest secure lot I could find.  Another place, where my folks store their RV for $90/month, wanted $90/month also for my popup. HA!

We stuck with keeping it close to home and in the garage.

This may benefit the sale in showing how large the garage is[:)]

forestwalkerWe stored ours at a self storage area for $40/month for several years. It s in the general area where we camp (an hour away) so it saved us towing $$ to the area.

We rented a permanent campsite for next year and currently have moved the trailer to it. The winter storage cost is $100/six months.

Having the permanent site enabled us to put up a shed to store all our camping stuff. Cost for that storage was $50/month at the same place we stored the trailer. So, goodbye $90/month & hello camping!

topcat7736If push comes to shove -- I will check into the advantages of doing the season route.
