Just wanted to give everyone an update.
 
They totaled DD's car and only gave her $1100 - so take away the $900 we put in a month ago, and the new rear end that the body shop did in May ($800 thank goodness we didn't pay for it, but it was a "new" rear end with no damage or rust or dings of any kind).  Technically we're in the hole :rolleyes:
 
Now for more bad news....  our largest dog "Darth" has to go to the vet AGAIN for pancreaitis -- this is his 3rd time since Christmas.  He hasn't been officially diagnosed with it yet, but he has the same symptoms as the last 2 times.  
 
When and where will it all end?
 
I let everyone know when I hear more about his condition.
 
Does anyone know about dogs and pancreaitis?  Possibly someone who works for a vet or is a vet...

Are thing better now?  I have said a special prayer for you and your family.  I'm another one from the school of hard knocks and have made a lot of lemonade when I was given lemons.  When your reach the bottom of the barrel, there is only one way and that is UP.

Nothing much has changed.  Still no good news on the job front, DD got her car totaled for $1,100.  Our dog isn't eating much, but he's acting OK.  
 
Thanks for the prayers and we're hoping he gets a job soon or Christmas will be shot.  Our youngest DD just had her 18th b-day and we told her that we owed her and the DD that had her car totaled will be 21 in a few weeks and we told her that we'd have to owe her also.  At least they old enough to understand .

Nancy, all we can offer is prayers and caring hearts, but I hope it helps some to know that so many people have you in their hearts.  It is wonderful to have an internet site like this one to come to when you feel bad, and I hope you know that most of us--even though we havent had the multitude of troubles you have lately been hit with--understand how your heart aches and we want to lift your spirits in any way we can.  That is why  YOUR Fluff is ALWAYS  a welcome sight to us and why we have so strongly upheld your right to come here to THE CAMPFIRE and say whatever you feel like saying (as long as it is not Lewd or, even worse,  MEAN-SPIRITED.)
