Lake Lure Campground

My family visited Chimney Rock/Lake Lure NC on our way back from a trip in Asheville.  We really loved the town & Chimney Rock Park.  I want to plan a camping trip here one day, so I looked into some of the campgrounds.  I stumbled on a site I found by google search of RV campground review, & found several unfavorable reviews of the owners of this campground.  I also found a few good reviews, stating that the owners had been unfairly judged.  Has anyone here at PUT stayed there & what was you impression.  I hope you say that this is a good place because it looks to me to be a great town to camp in.  If this is not a good place, what campground nearby can you recommend.
