Dw and I finally did it.  We bought a 2003 Jayco Kiwi 23B today.

We have been looking and researching and looking and researching.

Finally found the hybrid that we liked and at a dealer that we had bought our little 8 foot Jayco from in 1990.

It is going to be a long winter because the dealer has agreed to store it for the winter.  He did say that we could come and visit it anytime we wanted too.

Gene,

Glad you found something you liked!

Now that you have retired, maybe you can slide down to the mid-atlantic area for a little camping in the spring.

For that matter, why not take the Kiwi out and do a Florida trip :D   You can stop here until December and still be fairly comfortable.

Congratulations Gene, I hope you will enjoy it a lot !

Congratulations.  And what a coincidence.  We just bought the same camper two weeks ago!  And it is also going to be stored for the winter by the dealer.  Does make for a long winter.  But also definitely gives you something to look forward to!

 :)  :)

Good idea but dw is still working.
Maybe we will be able to do that next year.

Looks like you might be doing the same thing I will be doing this winter, Reading the manuals.

Good luck with your Jayco and many happy camping miles to you.

Congratulations Gene,
but having to wait to go camping would drive us crazy.

Luckily we can camp year round over here.

Kev, you'd better post something else quick! I just noticed that your "number of posts" has made you become the "666Quigs".

Congrats, Gene! May the Winter Wait pass fast for you.

Congratulations on the new trailer! :)

I hope that both of you enjoy it a lot.  I looked for one at the dealers today, but they didn't have any on the lot. :(   Oh well I will just have to camp with you again to see what it looks like in real life.

New Truck?
New Camper?
Wow! I need to retire.
I work full time and can't afford to live the good life you do!
Wishing you all the best with it Gene!! ;)
Congradulations!!!

Gone-Camping

Ah, settled on the Jayco huh? Must have been those snaps that got ya!!! ;)

Congratultions on the new trailer, you're going to love it! My trailer was once again the center of attention at the campground this weekend. People I didn't even know were stopping by to ask about it, and I guess hoping for a sneak peak, which I offered to everyone that stopped by!!! (six curious visitors, four taking the nickel tour) :D

We've seen the Kiwis and like them too! Congrats on the new trailer! Did you trade in the Mesa?
