Cajun, my heart goes out to you and of course, you are ALL in my prayers, along with Alex.  As Herhsey Girl says, St Jude's is truly  a place for miracles.  My ex-college room mate's grandson was treated there 8 years ago for leukemia and is in complete remission.  Blessedly, childhood leukemia has one of the highest cure rates of all cancers and it gets better all the time,

Funny thing about prayer.  An actual "scientific" study was done not long ago and from it they learned that people who were prayed for healed much faster and better EVEN when they did not know they were being prayed for and even--NOW GET THIS--when they did  NOT believe in the power of prayer. Surely prayer must be  the greatest power on the face of the earth .

After reading the update on the caringhands website today, I'm humbled and blessed beyond words.  We have so much to be thankful for that we take for granted, things as simple as a family dinner of lasagna or hearing a little boy's voice calling his dog.  

Thank you for your example of faith through the fire.  You're in our our thoughts and prayers.

Bless all of you Cajan and such wonderful news about Alex being home for Thanksgiving.   I look at Alex's web site every few days to keep updated on how he is doing.   It's so wonderful to hear he is home!
