What other restrictions are in place ?

If you remember on the old board, when it was slow some folks would click the post button a couple of times, then they had posted multiple copies of the same message.

On this board we have the ability to limit how often a member makes a post.  The default is 30 seconds.

Funny, Birol is the only one to find it

I knew the reason for this ..... Can we decrease it to say 15 seconds or so , so I will stop whining, or is 30 seconds the minimum  ?

And the restrictions for the emoticons, to save bandwidth ? If not can we remove them please ?

Hmmmmm, some people have sharp eyes and a gift for figuring out the rules.  So, now we are up to 6  and can delete the  out of quotes in order to get back the number of that can be used.  So there will be lots of editing the:)  out of quotes from now on.

It is rather slow to put the emoticons in a post, so that will give you something to do while the 30 second rule is in effect.

Just take your bood pressure between posts - OH wait that won't work -- his pressure will go up when thinking about the 30 second rule;) .
 
Maybe the best thing to keep the BP down would to leave the board so he wouldn't have to deal with the restrictions:D

 but you don't have to worry about that one.  You don't write long post.
