Fort Wilderness Fla.

We are heading down to Fort Wilderness during the kids spring break. It will probably be our last Family Vacation. Kids are getting old and heading to Collage. I am sure plenty of folks here have done the Disney Fort Wilderness thing. So I am looking for advice on staying at fort wilderness and any advise on Hopper passes? Where are the best deals? Is my Dog going to be ok? I always take my Dog with me....anything you all can add would be helpful I am sure. Thanks in advance, Rick

Natasha's got some great advice on "her" webpage.    I'm sure her dad will post some good stuff for you.
I did have a problem with my dogs at check-in.  I had clearly told them on the phone (twice) that I had dogs and that I had a pop-up.  At check-in, they told me our dogs were not allowed to stay in a pop-up at any time including when we were there with them.  I was almost in tears, and told them I had clearly stated that we had a pop-up and had called back and double checked it.  They made a call, and told us to go ahead and go on in, and changed our loop to a dog loop (why they didn't give us a dog loop when I told them on the phone we had dogs is beyond me).  
Interestingly enough, when we got to our loop, there were other PUs there with dogs.  We were right across from all the action - the pool, the singing place (can't remember the name), etc, and loved our loop.  
The dogs did great as they always do camping, and stayed in the PU while we were there and while we weren't (shhh).  
The sites are wonderful, clean and spacious - I think Tim has pictures on his site... err... Natasha's site.  And overall we had a great time.  We've been there three times, but this last was our first time camping, and I'd give it a "thumbs up"!
