I am having the hardest time figuring out this new board format! Is it just me?

I noticed that I was having the same problem with the disappearing ink in my posts.  It happened when I would go back somewhere to correct a typo and then hit submit.  I would then go back to edit and click on the color font underlined A dropdown arrow and select a color.  Magically, the type would appear.

boy, Andi, you are not alone--this thing is very nice but it sure has a steep learning curve.  I am sure that when we all get used to it, it will be a great advance.

Aw, it isn't that hard to figure out.  It did keep me locked out for a while when I first tried to get back in, though. :eek:   It took a while to calm down.  It was like being locked out of your house or maybe even your tow vehicle.

options

scroll down until you see "which thread display mode to use"

Select your choice, oldest first, newest first...

submit modifications




With posts that were transfered from old board, the original first post is lost.

Those little things might seem hard at first but it's nice that someone knows exactly what you need to do.  I'm glad you feel more at home now.  Please join back in as much as possible and help keep this place lively.

Make sure the signature item is checked at the bottom of the post frame in "options"  to "Show signature" before you sumit reply.

There are a lot of features on this board, I am leaving them alone for the time being ... too busy to mess around yet, gimme a month and I will learn them all So you are not alone ....

Andi, I have yet to figure out many of the features too.   I'm just waiting til someone says, "Oh, this is so easy, all you do is...." and then I will follow those instructuons and pretend that I knew all along but was too busy to get around to it.
