B-Flat:

Very classy to post such a welcome!  You certainly speak for many of us who have not taken your initiative.  Thank you!

B-flat

Thank you, too.  I remember when we used to do this on the "old board" all the time to let people know they were welcome here and to encourage them to join in.

B-flat

Everyone here at PUT wants to welcome Greg Long to the board.  We look forward to seeing you on the board and hope you will join in with us.  Do you have any questions about pop up camping?

B-flat

Welcome to RedPenny, our newest member to PUT!  We are glad to have you here.  Feel free to introduce yourself and ask any questions you might have..

Unless there is another "greg long" into popup camping, I suspect that this Greg is the member from old PUT formerly known as 'cincyguy'. Welcome back Greg, whichever one you are!

Smart, very smart, Larry.  I would never have known.;)

Nancy,  you are one of those who take Southern Hospitality very seriously and it shows! :p  in your greetings here.

Can you believe we have been at PUT for  probably over 3 years (Topcat can probably tell us how long it is since that first "modern" board Dave set up for us, the one before Cool Board (and remember how Al started calling it Drool Board?)  (was it because of all the good cooking Camper Jones was teliing us about?)

When I think back to how many questions I had then--wow, I was an encyclopedia of total ignorance about newfangled popups and camping in them.  And we didnt even have a popup until  a year after I started coming to PUT!      People were so patinet about answering questions and I was so grateful!

Anyhow, the fun thing about newcomers is that they think us Old Ones didnt have as many questions as they have, and the truth is, a lot of us probably had even  MORE!  :D  :)

Welcome all you new guys, fire away with the questions.  There is probably  someone here who knows the answer  to  most anything you want to know about Popups. :S

NiteyOwl, I remember on the old board about 3 years or so ago, that it was filled with everyone welcoming the others here. I'm just hoping to bring that back around and let everyone know we noticed they had just recently joined.  I am another one who didn't get a popup until around a year of being on this board.  By the time we bought one, the DH was listening to me as I very patiently told him how to set it up, level, stabilize, ....about tow ratings of various vehicles and how it is figured, and just about anything anyone needed to know.  It was all found right here on PUT message board.

Welcome to zymomyz, our newest member to Pop Up Times.  We are all glad to see you here and wish you only happy and informative times on this board.  For anyone else who has joined, please know that we are standing by to answer all your camping or popup questions.  We would love to hear from you.

(I would love to have a little more help on this "Welcome Committee,"  too.;) :D )

zymomyz

Hey, thanks for the welcome !!!

We purchased our 2003(.5) Sun Valley almost 2 months ago. We've had it out only twice, once to Mount Madonna (Santa Clara County Park nead Gilroy) and with NNC to Casini. We're going to So Cal after Christmas for a few days and back out with NNC to Olema in February. Oh, and we have camped in it out front of our house through the turkey day holiday since we had too much company (just took it down this evening :)).

I have been a fairly regular poster over on PUX (hope that's not heresy !).

I have made a few enhancements to the Sun Valley. Nothing too radical, just some little things to improve it a bit ;). If anyone here is interested that type of thing there are a few pictures:

It's my daughters picture page so the pictures can be found in zymomyz's pictures folder.

Thanks again and looking forward to exchanging camping ideas and info with the experts !!!

Another big welcome and red carpet roll out for abmbrown who is our newest member.  We'll all be looking for you on the board and let us know if there is anything we can do to help you.

zymomyz, it sounds like you are already deeply into pop up camping.  I'm envious of that new camper you have.;)   Keep us posted of any trips you take.  We also love to hear of unusual (good and bad) experiences you have while camping.

B-flat

Welcome to bigdaddydon who is our newest member.  We're glad you joined us and hope that you will find everything you need on this site about Pop Up campers.  There are plenty of us who are experience and we are waiting to assist you with any questions you might have.  Let us know about your camping experiences and the campground you enjoy.

B-flat

We have another new member, moaugie, who has just joined us.  Everyone would like to welcome you here to the message  board.  Please let us know if we can answer any of your question about Pop Up Camping.  Be sure to check out and to join the "Campfire" where there are plenty of fun topics being discussed that basically don't have much to do with camping.  The General Forum is for camping related topics.  You'll find a world of information on the entire board.
