Movie theaters, yup, not in Whitby, but close, 45 minuets drive or so, we love them as a family ! We load up on popcorn, nachos, coke and get into the windstar and take off for the night. It is a lovely  quite a few horus under the stars :W

that is TOO COOL!!  We lived in south Florida when I was a kid and  my follks would do the same thing for my little brother and me.  Wonderful memories.   :S  Then later,  when I was older of course, I went to the drive-in with friends and discovered why they were also called "passion-pits" but that's another story.   :rolleyes:

Well, we missed it this year - but we made it in 2001.

We went over to the Ft. Whaley Campground in November 2001for the "showers".

We stayed up all night and drove inot an area with no background lighting to view the show.

It was truly amazing to see all of the shooting stars at one time!

Did you manage to take any pictures by any chance , any one of you ? A 1600 ASA film would probably be enough to tka ea few good shots .....
