I am also THANKFUL for those you mentioned and the fact YOU and I were able to put away our political differences and had a great campout with some of those mentioned above.  (for the rest of you, don't bother, it's an ongoing inside thing :p ).

Thanks for mentioning folks who are worth camping with and have become great friends and who I wish a great Thanksgiving to.

This is a SUPER  thread and I think we all need to keep it coming to the top of the page because it makes us all stop and think of so many people here at PUT who have become our friends.  Don's list is a good beginning and I hope he wont mind if I add a few more names of other people who are so great here now or who have been such a joy here in the past.

While I do have some dear friends here, I wont name them this time, but want to take the opportunity to  remind all of you of our "unsung heroes" because they dont get the publicity (notoriety) that some of us do, although they help make this place very special for all of us and deserve mention.

Just a few of the many who occur to me:  How 'bout: Old Moose, Bikolee, WhiteStar505, Miss-Teri, Diplomat, Jo Ann, Civil War Buff, SactoCampers, gr8grandpa, PopUpNut, Sandy Kayak, Brainpause, Shirley T, Redwolf, RedNekRubbrDuck, Fyrefighter-Emt and Andi, tim5055, Mahaffey Family, and PopUp Sgt (remember his great recipe for de-skunking your dog?)  Foxyladies and Ernhart3N8, CoonCreekers, NC Sunshine.  There are many others but I'll stop here and leave room for someone else to add their thankful thoughts for them.

Come on gang, let's join in--don has provided us a wonderful reminder of how
much fun we all have here.  Maybe you have someone you especially enjoy  who hasnt often received recognition.  It's a great opportunity now at the holidays to post an expression of appreciation for those who might have been overlooked so far, but who need to know how much they also mean to us.

Michiganfl , where is he these days anyways ? chasd60 ! I will never forget him Wynot ! The hitch man ! I owe him a lot ! Colleen ? Where is she ? She never posts anymore, she was so much fun. How dare we not remember Campnfan ?

I hope I get to meet more of all the PUT people this coming year. They all have a special, seperate place waiting to be matched with a face and their real life personality.

Wow, there have been some very strange things going on here today.  We've had trouble with disappearing ink, and now Kelly must have become victim to it too.   I know I saw a great post about her being the good will ambassador for the calif, gang, and it's suddenly gone.  Where did it go???
