This is such a good thing that sometimes we eat it for a late "dinner"  It can be filling too!  The following makes the base and you add whatever sounds good on top, such as olives, onions, peppers, etc.  You can use "light" versions of both, it just comes out a little less solid (but still wonderful)!

 1 - 8oz. bar cream cheese

 1 - 16 oz container sour cream

Let both sit until room temp and mix together well.  Spread in the bottom of a 8" X 8" pan (or similar size).

Add:  diced Peppernoi, and other toppings you would normally like on a pizza.  The peppernoi adds a special flavor so I wouldn't skip it unless you really don't like it.

Top with:  Motzerella and Monery Jack shredded cheese.

Bake : @325 degrees until cheese's are nicely melted (about 15 minutes or so)  You'll have to play with the baking times, but you do NOT want the cheese to brown.  You want it gooey and stringey!

Serve: with white tortilla chips   (I like Biy Y generic chips, good flavor).  Usually I spoon some into small bowls (make sure everyone gets some cheese!) and put the chips on the side  This recipe doubles nicely, but make sure you use a bigger pan so everything gets heated through evenly.  The key with this recipe is to get the cheese melted right!   I've seen other recipes with pizza sause, but this is still my favorite!

This sounds really good.  I am not a big tomato sauce fan, so I like the sounds of this. :)

Thanks for posting.  I'm forsure going to try this one.  We are never home anymore because it's soccer season for the high schools here.  So, I'm always looking for a quick meal....crockpot or otherwise.  So when we get home late from a game (which is 3 games a week), we will have a hot meal.
