I just got finish with a online chat script.  If everyone would be so kind as to signup for a user account and test it out that would be great.  You can post any problems to this thread so we can fine tune the program.

Is there any way to add the time a post was made?  When you sign in it would be nice to know if the posts you see are recent or hours old.

Yup, it caused an error for me also when I logged out:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, serveradmin@hostexa.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

I agree about the colors and I also got an error when logging out.  Also, time and date would be nice also.

A cookie to remeber ID and Password would be nice.  Works in XP/IE environment just fine.  Great feature - if incorporated and it works cross-platform I "may" re-up for the $.

Log out gives Apache error - probable permissions/redirect problem.

I agree about the color - the black creates too much contrast for my old eyes. I tried clicking on YellowXterra's name when he was in there too, hoping it would show up in the message line, and that didn't work. A few smilies would be nice too. Thanks for working on this.

except for the time - it works great -- the color can be changed in the options section

I tried it this morning and had a nice chat with Nancy.  It worked fine, and I liked it.

I fixed the logout feature and changed the colors.
 
I went with black on white.......
 
I will see what I can do with the time issue.

Maybe you should prevent white being a font color on a white background ? I knew what the problem is and corrected it.

Also, the chat area is not obvious when one enters to an empty room, can you frame it ?

Are you looking for a good man to join your company ? (Sorry guys/gals, I couldn't help it, 2.5 years of being jobless sucks  :mad: )
