Where were you born?

Born here in West Michigan, and have lived here all my life.   In fact, I'm only about 5 minutes away from the neighborhood where I started kindergarten and finished high school all in the same school building.   I've often wondered what it would be like to live someplace else, but then we go on a vacation and I realise after just a short time that I miss this part of the country.   I guess I'll never go away from here.

43-untill I leave this ole' world === camping as much as possible, when possible.

I was born in Chicago, grew up in Linthicum, Maryland and moved just outside of Washington DC in Northern Virginia in the 70's when I was in the microfilm equipment industry. I'll be here until my 16 year old finishes school.

I was born in a little town in Northern Ontario, Cochrane (home of the Polar Bear Express for any train enthausists) When I was 3 we moved to what is now Cambridge Ontario. When I was 12 parents moved us back to Cochrane. I left there in 1986 to move here to Niagara Falls. Like it here and have no plans to move unless its to a more rural home in the general area.

I was born in Worcester Mass, and lived in the Worcester County area for the first 21 years of my life. My parents and their parents were all from Spencer Mass, but my parents moved around alot, lived in Spencer, E. Brookfield, Grafton, Leominster, Sutton, and Liecester.

U.S. Navy sent me to San Diego for a year, then on to Norfolk Va. I've lived here in Virginia pretty much since 1976, I did return to Sutton Mass for a couple years in the early 80's, and back to Spencer for 2 years in the late 80's, pretty much the last 25+ years here in the Norfolk/Va Beach/Chesapeake/Portsmouth area.

One day I hope to return to Mass or somewhere in New England for "Semi-Retirement"  in the summers, but gotta keep working right now!

I was born in Philadelphia PA, the city of brotherly love (yea right).  When I was 6 my family moved outside of a spot in the road    called Trout Run, still in PA.  Moved into the big city of Williamsport after high school.  I lived at 3 different places there, and then to where we live now in central PA.

Spent every summer since I was 6 (42 years worth) near Crested Butte CO- at our cabin (my 2nd home).
Lived in San Marcos TX while in college.
Married a home boy with a job here, so here we stay.
Dream of retiring and living summers at the cabin and winters here in TX
(Camping in both states whenever we feel like it.)

When I was born my parents lived in San Leandro, California (in the San Francisco Bay Area) but my Mother was forced to have me in Oakland, CA (still in the bay Area) because her Doctor was an Osteopath and was arguing with the San Francisco Hospital System.  They didn't want an Osteopath delivering babies in San Francisco so she had to go to an Oakland Hospital.  Anyway, when I was about 2 my parents decided to move back to my Mother's home town of Billings, Montana because she wanted to start a Tupperware Dealership.  My sister was born in Billings during that time.   When I was 4 my parents moved back to Sacramento, CA where I still live.  Actually we live in North Highlands, CA which is the outskirts of Sacramento.
