Who's been Popup camping the longest?

The first time I went in a pop-up was about 1948.  My father had taken it as a trade in on a boat he built for a man who had lived in the PU the year before.  He was a teacher and was popped up at the football field so he could use the bathroom there.  We used it for about six years that I remember. I think the floor space when the beds were made was about two feet.
I went thru all of my parents pictures but they were not taking any those years.

That's a big problem for me too.  I have two huge boxes of family photos I dug through this past week.  Out of all the times we went to Santa Rosa Island in the late 60s, early 70s, I only found 1 picture.  That's the one with me hiding in the background.

I was just as guilty of not taking pictures too.  All the years I was in the Scouts, I only have a couple of pictures, none of camping.

Sure love having a digital camera today.  My kids won't have to dig through boxes of photos, never knowing when the photos were taken, and who was pictured.  I've been sorting all my digital images, and added such information.  All are being archived on DVDs.  I took more digital picture in a single year than my family had taken in over 40 years.

After reading the many replies, I think we all have many camping experiences not captured on film.  Shame, because those were probably some of our fondest memories.   :(
