Ft. Summit, Fla?

the magic kingdom mis full, so we're considering the KOA ft summit nearby. anyone ever stay there?

If Fort Wilderness is full, keep checking back.  Cancellations are released overnight, so calling in the morning gives you a better chance of getting a site.

If FW is out of the question, the place most folks talk about is Tropical Palms Resort.  It is about 5 - 10 minutes from Disney while the KOA is further (west of Disney on I-4).  Plus, you will be battling I-4 commuting traffic (Orlando is the same direction as Disney from the KOA) each morning on your way to Disney from KOA.  The only warning I give is that folks say NOT to get the cheap sites at tropical Palms.  These seem to be uncovered in a field.  For a few dollars more they say to go for a nicer site.
