Hello Nightowl,

I just suggested that we hold the Eastern rally at your campgrownd. I told them that we could get you to serve breakfast every morning. What are your rates and do you take reservations?

Sounds good to me. :D

Hey, you-all are welcome anytime!  There is only one problem--you will have to come ONE AT A TIME.  What I  left out of my description is that we have put our campsite on a narrow little ridge--the guy was able to grade and flatten just about enough room for the TM.  Anyone else will just "fall off" and that wouldnt be fun for any of us!

To make it even more interesting, the road in to the property is too steep for a regular TV so we are having to  hire someone to tow the TM to its resting place.  NO JOKE! (I wish it was!)  (That's why I described it as a semi-permanent destination for the TM--once we get it there, it will probably have to stay unless the woods catch fire.)

This puts me in mind  of going back to Ann Arbor one September and telling my fellow PTO moms at a coffee hour about our crazy adventures in the woods at home in Georgia that summer.  One of my friends suggested I open a camp on our place  for "drag-as$ Ann Arbor mothers" and not let anyone in unless they could produce an episiotomy scar.

This place boasts a fair amount of wildlife which we have had personal encounters with including raccoons, skunks,(one got into the "kitchen" area) deer, coyotes, possums, and a bear (which the neighbors saw and reported to us) in addition to local moonshiners who used our place as a cut-through and storage site.   The only ones we dont enjoy sharing space with are the black widow spiders in our outhouse and a few copperheads and rattlesnakes but, even our kids knew at a young age, unfriendly critters arent hard to avoid if you use a little common sense.

How 'bout holding the rally nearby, though?  It's very pretty around here and there are several nice lakes nearby  for fishing and wonderful hiking trails  with mountaintops to climb up to.
