I will be depositing checks this afternoon to cover the check I am writing to VLR.  I have had some of your checks for awhile (my apologies) and wanted to give you the heads up if you need to deposit some money to cover the check you sent me.  :)

Thanks!  Only 3 more days!

OC Campers

Quote from: griffsmomWe usually try to have breakfast around 9:00 or so. It's a very casual thing and there's no requirement that you participate--if you'd like to join us you can, but if you'd rather sleep in, then you'll be in good company, right Dee? :)
Okay, I am going out on a limb here and vouching for Deidre.  She has made it to breakfast at least the past 3 campouts.:D  She makes an incredible breakfast burrito.  Deidre, you aren't going to make me a liar are you?  You are planning on breakfast again right?:p

70 kids for trick or treat????? :yikes:  :yikes:  :yikes:
I counted 39 children on the attendee list but there are a lot of ???? and I have made enough goodie bags for 60.  Guess I had better think up something else.

Quote from: Sue HardeeI hate to be a pain...but does anyone know what time the shared Saturday breakfast is..do we have to get up at 6:00 a.m. to get prepared for this event. I think I am going to fry up about 3 lbs of bacon and if its too early we wil skip breakfast... for the dinner Potluck I am going to make a big pot of chili beans. I hope this will be o.k.  I am new to this but want to fully participate.  Only 4 more days... We are really excited about meeting eveyone finally!!! I quessed about 70 kids for trick or treating.. any one have a more accurate accounting.

It is pretty amazing how big the rally is this year. Last year we only had 17 families; this year, we're up to 30 families! :yikes:

For those of you who are new, be sure to send Scott (gsm x2) an e-mail so that he can add you to the member section of the SCCamper's web page. Also, shoot an e-mail to Georgeanne (g-whiz, and wife of gsm x2) with the following info:

PUT NICKNAME
NAME: Yours/Spouse/S.O.
HOME ADDRESS
CITY, STATE, ZIP
HOME PHONE
CELL PHONE
E-MAIL ADDRESS

Georgeanne will add you to the NNC/SCC contact list. It is a list merely for member contact purposes and not for dissemination outside the group (like anyone would want it! ;) )

Here's a note from Georgeanne in case you have difficulty e-mailing her:

"If you want to be added to the list or if changes need to be made, please e-mail me.  My spam filter is set VERY high and if you have not e-mailed me before, you will get a notice telling you "request to be added to my address book". Please request; I will add! Please do not post your personal information here on the boards."

Thanks! :D

I like hot sausage, but the rest of my family doesn't. But then I like spicy things. My wife usually doesn't care for real spicy things but who is the first to ask for more wisabi? Yup, she does.

See most everyone Friday and looking forward to meeting all of the new campers.

As for what we're making for the Saturday potlucks, I think I'll make pancakes and sausage for breakfast and DO chicken enchiladas for dinner. But that's not completely confirmed yet.

yummy!! for breakfast I'm brining those little cereal boxes and milk. I tried Breakfast burritos @ Pismo to many to make and things have been VERY hectic around here. For dinner I'm doing my usual Spaghetti so i can get my DD to eat something.

for kid count I will have 3 this time DS is bringing a friend
