Omg.... I Want To Camp....

Just went out to get something to eat, the it is so beautiful out.  Temps in the mid 70's, HOWEVER.... winds 25-35 mph and gusting higher.
 
But the bad part is temps tomorrow only in the mid 40's :% .  Also, chance of flurries Sun-Tues.  As long as it's only flurries, it won't be too bad.
 
I guess spring has not sprung yet... well at least not here.

This last week it was in the 40's and much of the snow we had melted. It sure made me want to get at camping again.  Yesterday and last night it got a bit colder though and it sleeted, rained and snowed all night, the wet heavy kind of snow. I guess winter isn't over yet.

Yup, I got the fever too. Got up to 68, shattered the old record. But the high winds got up to 65mph made that impossible. Now it is 33 degrees out and they are talking maybe an inch or two of snow for tomorrow. Mama Nature is just to cruel, the big tease.

But I want to travel and have fun, I would stay at hotels if I had money, but oh well ! Trying to formulate the summer plan !

we got to go last week, and it was nice, but the ground was still frozen and the mud was heavy, so we couldn't hang outside much, to wet and messy, but we got her opened and aired and start planning!

Wind gusts over weekend were terrible, temps dropped last night and we currently are in the upper 30's with wind chills in the low 20's.  Snow tonight maybe a dusting to 2" by morning.  Temps for the next 7 days no higher than the mid 40's
 
I know they said 6 more weeks of winter, but I hate it when we get the warm temps and then the bottom falls out.  I thought I was done with the winter coats.

Hate to rub it in to all of you, but here in Sacramento, CA it was 68 degrees yesterday, and it is supposed to be in the low to mid 70's the rest of the week.  AND we went camping last weekend on the coast (Olema).  We did have some rain, but Saturday and Sunday were beautiful.  You may have seen the "live action"  posts because our Wagonmaster (Nick) had a wireless computer with him and was posting from the rally.  We may have some rain again next week, but that is much better than all the snow you have.

I've been dying to camp as well.  If we had backyard access, I'd drag the PU in the backyard and sleep in it.  The weather, the sounds of the birds in the morning...  Argh!  This is KILLING me!

I'm sitting here in my office right now, looking out the window at......SNOW!  Where did our gorgeous spring weather go???    It's been really strange the past couple of days.

It is sunny her and around 38 degrees or so ! Some left over snow here and there ! Too wet on the ground to erect MOAT though ! SO yeah now I want to camp !
