I have a 2003 Jayco Designer F-1, We have had a good relationship with Jayco until now. We took our camper to the dealer we bought it from and showed him the roof. It is buckled in the center. We heard from him today after he tried to order us a new roof under warranty. Jayco informed them that we wasn't the only one experiencing this problem but it was normal and it wasn't covered. My husband called the Jayco customer service and was told the same thing. He asked the lady if she bought a new car and the roof buckled in if that would be a defect on her car. The lady never answered. But, informed him once again that we would have to live with the roof buckled in because it was normal and not a defect. Beleive me if I was told that the roof was going to do this I wouldn't have paid $12,000. for this camper.

Does anyone have this problem? What are the Lemon laws on pop up campers. We have had nothing but problems with this camper. I see on Pop Up Times that PopupSgt had his fixed if you have an e-mail address for him please e-mail him this, he may be able to help me.

If you have a written & stated warranty, that would put them in breach of contract. I'd probably talk to a lawyer, you just may have recourse. No one sitting in a jury would ever consider this "normal".... I say call their bluff and see what happens!!!
