I don't post too often, I'm more of a reader. Since I bought my first popup in 2001, I have come to this board to learn. Everyone here is great and you have been doing a fantastic job. Keep up the good work.

Only positive changes. We'll hire an ad salesguy and if I'm looking for someone to fill the editor slot so I can do other things, like attend rallies and visit pop factories.

On another note, I was ashamed how this post was going for the past few pages since our neighbor just bought his first pop-up.  My DH refered him to this message board and we lent him a few of our older magazines.  I had to tell Ray that this was not a good time to have him visit with the negative posts I have witnessed in the past few days.  I showed it to Ray and he was also very disappointed.  He never posts but is a contributing member in some manner.  He does not consider himself a lurker either.  Whats worse is I know most of the people here are better than this mess :compumad:

Now lets get on with some camping. :#

Nothing like a few old friends straightening out misunderstandings. It might look scary at first to first timers, but when they understand that corners have been turned, and stones have been overturned, they will appreciate it. We are all human beings, and just like in real life there are issues to handle and I think all involved a did very mature job of it.

When I read that Dave is hiring a few people, I started to think that maybe he would  also have an opening for an IT guy and how I would sell myself to him ! He doesn't need one, my luck Wouldn't it be hilarious for me to work for Dave ? Double Whammy

Birol, beautiully and  clearly explained for anyone new  coming on who doesnt  understand the way this board works.

Hey Brenda , good to see you again.  If your neighbors are getting a popup, you and Ray have  been members of this  old board   long enough that you  could easily explain this "little "tempest in a teapot" to them so that they need not be unnecessarily  concerned.    

After all, things here  have lately been very calm and happy  and this is the ONLY  thread with any complications in it--and obviously ALL  of us  came out of it as good friends again like in the old days.  Just take a look around  at everything posted since we all had a chance to clear the air and discuss our differences of opinion,  and you'll see what I mean.  We are ALL back on a positive footing and very happy together and it's wonderful!.  

It takes an outstanding Bulletin Board to  provide a forum for misunderstandings and disagreements and still  retain its genuine commitment to friendship and love of camping and popups, and this place is a prime example of that.  :# :# :#
