5'th grader kidnapped for Ransom

Seriously now, I thought this was a thing of the past. In a  Turkish coastal city (Antalya, famous for its beaches) they kidnapped this girl for ransom ! yeah, don't call the police or she dies kind of thing

Anymore no one, nor no place is immuned to things like this happening.  Keep us posted, she is precious.

I hope they find her unharmed and alive, what a horrible thing for a child to go through ....

what a dear little sprite and how terrifying this must be for her and all those who love her.  I pray for her safe return and for these awful memories to fade quickly .

They are asking for 50,000,000,000 Turkish Liras, which is roughly 35,714 usd. That is a lot of money in Turkey of course. It would buy a 1,000 sq foot condo in an average neighborhood.

Funny a little girls life is worth 35,000 bucks for someone ......and invaluable for others .....

She was rescued by a police operation. She was being held in an apartment unit, the adbuctor tried to escape and was swiftly was arrested, she is in good health and unharmed. she said to the reporters that she wasn't afraid at all, smart cookie


They hid her face, helllo she was kidnapped and saved already ? Her pictures were all over the place, now they are trying to save her identity ? I don't get it ....

I am so glad that she didn't get harmed. Today TV reported that someone tried to kidnap an 8 year old girl at the kids old school, scary ........
