Just picked up a 25' white coil hose for water at wal-mart for $15.00.  Has anyone tried this?

I only had a 10-footer of the regular kind.

No I haven't.  You will need to do a review after you use yours. :)

I haven't seen one yet, but I'm real interested!!! Right now, the big ol' white RV hose can be a problem to deal with, rarely ever use the full length of it, and coiling it up for storage is always a fun chore to do too! A coiled hose sounds much simpler to deal with!!! :-():-():-()

I have the type that coils up like a spring, not the type that flattens out and you wind it back up in its case.  I bought it last year and used it several times.  It works pretty well.  It doesn't quite coil back to its original size once it gets stretched out but it is still easier to deal with than a regular 25' hose.  It's easy to store and the other real advantage is that because of its coiled shape, not as much of it touches the ground so it doesn't get as dirty as a regular hose.  A winner at least for me.

that's the same kind of coil mine is...sorry, won't be using it until Memorial Day weekend.  will let you know.

BTW, I got a 50' garden coil hose in Costco for $16.
