Rules of "On-Line Zoom".
 
Just a primer on rules of ZOOM for anyone who wants to join us.

Each person who posts must enter the next consecutive number 1, 2, 3, etc.
You say, ZOOM, for:
Any number that contains a 7, ie, 7,17,27
Any multiple of 7: ie 7, 14, 21, 28
Any double number: ie 11, 22, 33
Making a mistake stops the count and resume at ONE: For On-line, this means simulposts: 2 people saying the name number at the same time requires a RESUME AT ONE--NO EDITS TO CHANGE A NUMBER
Rule deferred for on-line version: Saying two zoom in a row reverses direction.
Rule added for on-line version: Clever desception of the number is encouraged, ie
One is disappointed when we restart
I am disappointed too.
With re-entery, the astronaughts completed their mission.

Rules of Zoom.
 
Count in rapid fashion with a rhythm. 1 2 3 4...
 
When you get to a number that contains a "7", ie 7, 17, 27 say ZOOM
When you get to a number that is a multiple of 7, ie 7, 14, 21, say ZOOM
When you get to a number that is a double number, ie 11, 22, 33, say ZOOM
 
(This rule is not being used in this game but normally applies) If two ZOOMS are said in a row, ie 27 and 28 would be ZOOM and ZOOM, reverse directions

I've always thought that "The Game of Zoom" would be a good article for PUT Magazine.  I bet Dave would love to print that article.  And since you're an established writer and published author, that'd be a good one for you.  A good title would be, The Games We Play.
