We left Florida on the 30th of April but not before I pulled and regapped my plugs. In my first segment titled I explained my problems leaving and how my aftermarket ignition appeared to have caused the problem.

After reach northern SC, my check engine light started to come on. I stopped and checked my plug wires to make sure they were all on OK and they seemed fine. When I took off the check engine light was out but came back on within 30 or so miles and the truck began to skip. The truck started a little spark knock and I took it out of OD. It seemed to run a lot better at higher RPM but there definitely was a problem. I used my cell and call 1-800-4adodge to get the location of the nearest dealer. It was about 40-50 miles from where I was. I called the Dodge dealer and after a few minutes he asked me what brand spark plug I had. I told him I installed Bosch Platinum plugs about 10,000 miles ago. He said

Papaso

It's so nice to take a long trip, I'm so glad you had a great time. I also had problems with Bosch Platinum plugs in my Suburban, from the moment I installed them the perfomance got worse. I changed them out to the original AC's the following week. Haven't had a problem since.
