The North Carolina mountains are BEAUTIFUL in the Summer!!!!  Nice and cool with wonderful breezes and great views.

We would just have to find a CG that is large enough to hold all of us!!!!!!

I LIVE IN THE NORTHEAST GEORGIA MOUNTAINS!  And they are beautifful all year!  :!   And we have several wonderful state parks here  in the mountains with fine camping!  :# :# .  

BUT--I agree we need to do this in North Carolina!   :-()  It is ALSO a gorgeous state although, like the Georgia mountains, not ALWAY predictably cool in summer .  But it is fairly convenient for  people from other places  in the east and southeast And not too far for the :Georgia Gang to go!
