I have pictures of the inside, I am so busy adoring it and making plans and chatting with the family, I should post them soon ! it is like yours .. double dinettes ! No Inverter,  two storage packets in the front ! it is just lovely !

Thanks for the pictures of the insides of the roof, do you have more pictures like that ? I would also appreciate the users manual :) I will bribe you :) I will :) hehehehe

Glad to see you made it back safely. I hope your popup brings you as many memories as ours did. Good luck with the fixes you have to do. My brother replaced the inside of his roof on an old camper. The roof leaked so he fiberglassed the entire thing. All of the extra weight led to a broken cable and pulley. Once he replaced that as well he had a real nice camper. The extra weight on the roof was less than an AC unit but the other parts were pretty well worn.

I'm glad Lee came thru for you, he is a pretty clever guy and Lee and Andrea are what I call "genuine caring people". They step up to help others when they need it.

Once again, congrats on the "NEW" camper!!!

One suggestion, next time make two posts, one with details for the ladys, and one without details for the guys.  The one without should go something like, Bought popup, met up with dude to go over it and did some manly repair work. on the way home, I had an electrical issue that I fixed on the side of the highway, in the pooring rain, with cars going 90 right by me.  Hauled her home for the fam to enjoy.

THIS IS A HOOT!  :J  :J  :J  :J  :-()   Oh, it is such a "guy" post, I LOVE it! :#  And this is exactly the kind of report I get when DH has been on a 2 week trip.

Gone-Camping

Birol, I don't really have any more picture of the ceiling, maybe one other but will have figure out where it's posted at....

As for the owners manual, no problem, I talked to the guy who owns my "old barge" yesterday and he said he'd dig it out. Do me a favor and remind me again on Tuesday, I'm going camping and will put all this stuff out of my mind for a few days, so that will be on the bottom of the list and likely forget about it. Just gimme a gentle reminder on Tuesday evening or something...

Hey Birol! I think your new camper is just grand!
(Singing to the tune of the Happy Birthday song....HHe Hum) Congratulations to you! Congratulations to You! Congratulations on the new PU! Congratulations to You!

Make sure you get a dairy or log book and write down everything you do and later, everyplace you go. Next year it will be interesting to see how you've improved the PU. Just like that TV show- "The Swan". Give 'em a make-over and see how gorgeous they become.
And....don't forget the before and after pictures.

That little trailer may have fallen on hard times but now has gotten lucky and found itself a new home! Maybe name the PU "Lucky BaBy!" (BB for Birol and Babette?)
Just a thought...... ;)

No pictures of the inside guys/gals ! I can't believe I did not take any when it was open in CT ! That goes to show how excited I was to have it. Still when I walk out he door, I am surprised and pleased to see it there !

We will pop it up properly this Sunday hopefully ! Looks like the weather is going to hold up. I will take tons of pictures and post them ...... I also want them for the before and after album :)

Sort of good news is I am not the weekend driver for the newspaper boss. It is a far cry from what I do for a living but, it will bring some more money home. Working hours are so much fun of course :)

Friday : 5 pm to 9 pm
Saturday : 1:30 am to 8 am
Sunday : 1:30 am to 8 am.

Also around ten days a month I will do collections and tie odd ends and pieces and get paid little bit for a every week.  All in all it should bring in some money which should allow us to fix the PU, and maybe even buy a canvas for it next year !

This is like an assistant manager position to the guy running the Sun for the town of Whitby .... I am hoping that I will find a job which I can do my profession oneday ..... It is a back breaking job, especially so early in the morning, but I am still thankful to God that I have it.

You can help with the ebay fund for the canvas....

birol

E-bay fund is yet to pay for the PU, I paid for it with the credit card .... And incured expenses way above what I thought I would spend ....not whining, just facts ... But once it is paid off, I will make sure that I get the canvass and pay it off with eBay as well. There is no other way. The cabinets and patching and the roof  will have to paid off from our pocket ...

Well, to fund you pop-up thru e-bay ya gotta be selling some stuff!! Didn't you say you got a porta potty with the new camper.. and if my memory serves me right, didn't Eilsa send you one last year?? Well, flush one away on e-bay.. Looks like they are bringing in $50 or $60 or so right there.

NightOwl

He's right, B! :W

Nobody needs two Porta-Potties!  Do you still have the carton mine came in?  that would make it easy to sell it and ship it and they  do bring good money.

Ha ha, hey guys, remember the old cliche about not "having a pot or a window"?  Well, now  Birol not only has a window, he has TWO pots! :J :# :-()  :yikes:

Ewww, I gotta clean it up eeewwwww, It doesn't look that dirt though, I guess I could give it a try. I hope it is not broken , looks like there was a broken piece, I sure will give it a try though. 50 bucks is 50 bucks I do not have !

Now that we have the Dog, and Finally, time to list and list and list !

What a stinking job :) I hope it will sell, so used porta potties sell eh, I gotta check that out first of course :)

birol

I will attempt to clean it Wednesday, weather will be nice, where do I dump it if it is full though ? In the  neighbous lot ?  :eyecrazy:
