I have 2 of the fan lights  :) (the lights sold here at PUTs  http://www.popuptimes.com/miva/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=P&Product_Code=5FL&Category_Code=12V ).  My fan lights are packed away in the PU and I am wondering if anyone knows number light bulb fits.  I want to replace my light bulbs with LED bulbs, but I need to know what number the bulb is. :eyecrazy:

You won't be happy replacing the bulbs with one of the LED replacements. Yes they'll use a lot less 12 volt when dry camping but the LED's are so directional all you'll get is about a 10 inch round spot light effect on the canvas.

We've found for task lighting where we could direct the LED's output to a limited area they worked fine. For general lighting or something that can't be placed directionally they don't work worth a darn.

Tracy - those are 921 third brake light bulbs in there...  They have a push in base and I have not seen them in an LED version.  If you found a 194 version in LED the base is identical as a 921.  HOWEVER, a 194 is a clearance/marker light (not too bright) and the 921 is bright because it's used as a brake light.  As you have seen, I changed out one of my roof lights (an 1156 - back up light bulb) with an LED light and it works okay...  I hope this helped!

I saw the amount of light a 12 LED bulb made in Copcarguy's PU and it is enough light for what I want.  I am going to replace one bulb in each of my ceiling lights with a LED bulb.  I would like to replace the bulbs in the bunkend fan/lights because they are just too bright.  If someone turns one on to go to the bathroom at night it is too bright, I think the LED would give more than enough light for my purposes.  I replaced my outside patio light with a 4 LED fixture and I am happy with the light output there. :)
