Put-In-Bay

We are looking to head to the Put-In-Bay, Ohio area in late July.  We want to visit Cedar Point, but not stay there.    We have 3 young kids and so are not looking for a fishing camp, but do not want an overcrowded campground full of unsupervised teens as you sometimes find near amusement parks.  Any good campgrounds recs?

East Harbor State Park. It is about 20 minutes from Cedar Point. And pretty big and well supervised by park rangers.
