I know several have done this, and someone even has the directions on their website, but I can't seem to find it.

We would like to put a gauge/meter to show us how much water is in the fresh water tank.

We have an extended warranty and don't want to do too much that they in turn come back and say we voided the warranty by modifying the PU.

It is on Tim's website

Links on the left.
They can't void the warranty by you modifying the popup unless what you did caused the problem.

I must say this is one of the things I like the most.  As we dry camp a lot I was always looking underneith to see if we needed to pick up more water while we were out for the day.

The only downside to the guage I used was that they do not have a US distributor (that I know of) for the guage.  Ordering from Austrailia was painless and it was here as if it was shipped from Ohio (just a small dig to Ohio ;)  )

We bought one and I'd love to say it works like a charm, but DH still hasn't installed it!  :swear:   The shipping was not very much, surprisingly.  I think it totalled something like $35 and I got it within a week or two of ordering it.

Sounds like around our house....

We bought tile squares to put down in the kitchen 17 years ago... they are still in the garage; last year (May 2003) DH decided not to mess with glue and the fact those most probably are shot, so he went to Big Lots (oldest DD works there so we get a 20% discounty) and he bought 3 boxes to put down in the kitchen since he was laid off... the 3 boxes are still in my living room in the box... still no kitchen floor :swear::swear::swear:

This one might be a little pricey, but looks easy enough to install, no holes in your tank etc...

Sure is pricey, if DH ever gets a job, this may be the way to go.
