Since certain NNCers have asked us to repeat our wagonmastering skills of last year's Get Lucky by the Lake rally @ So. Lake Tahoe, we have decided to do it again.
So which weekend should we have it?

UPDATE: Tahoe Valley Campground informed me today that the California Windstar Foundation will be also be having their "rally" on the weekend of Sept 10,11 & 12th.
Windstar was founded by the late John Denver and according to group reservations for TVC this group has lots of music and festivities planned at the campground.
So we can count on the campground to be fuller then we visited last year.
For us personally, we like Denver's music and would love to have it fill the mountain air.
But I thought I would let you know in advance just in case anyone needs to bow out.
MORE UPDATES[/B]
The rates for this year's Get Lucky at the Lake 2 rally held at Tahoe Valley Campground (private) will be $33.60 per night. This a group discount of 20% off their $42.00 rate.We will have full hook-ups including cable.TVC will need to make site assignments this year prior to arrivals due to the expected fullness of the campground. Those sites in a given area will be determined by TVC and myself late this month.

TVC is nestled among towering South Lake Tahoe pine trees yet close to almost anything someone might want to do. A heated pool, playground, basketball & tennis courts are inside the campground along with shuttles to the casinos.

My preferred method of collecting the one night's deposit of $33.60 required will be via Paypal .If using Paypal (our user name is scottgen@att.net) is not possible, please e-mail me directly for a mailing address to send in a check.
I ask that all NNC'ers who are requesting extra sites for friends/family be responsible for collecting/submitting monies/rig info etc. . .   about these attendees. This is a great help to me.

Late sign-ups please contact Wagonmaster

Anybody who did not attend last year's Get Lucky rally will need to submit via e-mail to me the following info so I can complete the rally contract with TVC.

Your name
username
mailing address
contact phone #
What type of RV i.e. PU, Hybrid
Length of RV (when opened)
Slideout-  Yes or No
dates of attendance i.e. Thurs, Friday, Sat, Sun

Those returnee attendees from last year, I will transfer the info given to me previously to the new contract. Let me know if any changes need to be made.

Otherwise, if anyone has any questions please e-mail me directly or post to the boards and I will reply asap.
Thanks for your interest with all the expected excitement of yet another great NNC rally in the works.
EVEN MORE UPDATES[/B]
There seems to have been some confusion over the per night rates. The actual per night charge for our rally will be $33.60 per night. A 20% group discount off the published rates for weekends in that time of year @ TVC.
I am sorry for this mix up. I am not pleased with TVC for originally giving me misinformation.

Unfortunately we just can't make it that weekend. An important church function is taking place both the 18th & 19th.
But we are not the majority so . .  .
Holly if you or possibly somebody else might be interested in taking over spearheading this rally on Sept 17, 18 & 19 were o.k. with .
Is that truly the only weekend you have open in Sept?

I was just kidding.  Unfortunately I am busy on the weekend of the 11th and we HAVE to leave for France/Germany on the 25th.  This is your place, you all should do it on the date that you want!

g-whiz

TOS and I just discussed this and won't be able to make it as our September is overflowing with already planned activities. :%

towrod

Yes, we are very interested in Tahoe again in September.  We had a wonderful time last year and look forward to doing it again.  The weekend of 9/10 works best for us so you can count us in.  It's such a nice time of year to be at Lake Tahoe - I can't wait.

Either weekend will work for us. We have things we will have to cancel no matter what weekend you choose.

otter

Either works for us too.  I have half a chance of dragging Lon to his beloved moutains.   I'll keep my eye on the thread

RTurner

Any weekend is open for us, keep us in the loop and add us to the guest list.

SactoCampers

The Sactocampers might even be able to make this one, but I cannot offer any guarantees.

Sacto, you have to sign up to be able to "pull a Sacto."  GSMX2 said, "pulling a Surfcal" is when you don't sign up and show up anyway.  So, don't be raining on my parade.

otter

...and pulling an Otter is when you forget to sign in and either:

procede register for a rally; thus making yourself ready to be ever ready to "pull a Sacto"
or
tell us all that you definitely can't make the rally; thus making you able to "pull a SurfCal"

champ521

I missed the poll but my vote would be for 10, 11 & 12. I'll be pulling a pop-up. :sombraro:

The Memory Maker

Well the weekend of Sept 10,11 & 12th won in the poll. Those that cannot make this rally, should know they will be missed.
I will phone the campground today and begin setting up the reservations. And post when I have more info. Thanks for the interest.

UpdateMaking group reservations for a future date on check-in day of a holiday weekend doesn't work. I'll call back Tues morning.

Do you know which sites we will be in?
