nice place, just off rt 340, at the entrance to the national park. a little pricey, but nice amenities. pool, bikerentals, gym, horseshoes, volleyball, theater, etc. large and friendly camp staff. bath house nice. showers are seperate from the bathrooms, nhave a large changing area. down sides-busy place. real full routinely. most sites are back-in, all sites are smallish and lucky to get a levell one. all are wooded. noisy place. access roads are small and tight-my tv got hit by a guy trying to swing hi9s 5th wheel tight enough to clear a tree, and the neighbor. i was off the road a good foour feet. plenty of poppers there with us, but we got mixed in with and surrounded by tent campers. out of staters, fireworks all night, let kids set off stink bombs in the day. loud music. lots of attituess. ni9ce place-would recommned it to someone i like, but we had some bad luck.

I have stayed here twice in the past and have several friends who have stayed there. None of us liked it for the very reason you said you had a little bad luck. Seems (except for the TV getting hit) the noisy crowds, drunken parties, the "attitudes", not to mention the tiny, cramped, jammed in, spaces, etc.. All this certainly isn't "unusual" from what we've seen and heard. Unfortunately it seems to be the norm for this campground. Not a place I'd recommend to a friend.
