John was stunned.  So there really were twenty-three different flavors at the Ice Cream Parlor!

But then they added vanilla, and had 24 flavors!

He just couldn't believe it.  He was so amazed, he sat down to wait for them to add another flavor.  But flavor number 25 never came.  It was a deep diappointment to him.

...In all his twenty-six years, he had never known such diappointment!

and they had even fewer flavors so he had to zoom to another ice cream store.

Twenty-nine stores later, he finally gave up.
