Zoom Comes to the Campfire

...and the ship stopped its zooming.

Once it reached the 38th Parallel....

There were 39 dolphins jumping around them.

They needed to find the whales.  Fourty whales should fill the hold, he thought.  He'd always been able to fill the hold with fourty.  How long would that take?  He had heard of some of the large whalers spending years at sea to try to fill the hold.  But with this little ship, fourty whales would do.

[brainpause]

But forty one whales might sink them. He thought about it a long time. Forty would be fine, but one more than forty would surely sink them to a watery grave.

Just then a whale zoomed past the boat...

It tossed the ship fore and aft, about 43 times...

Then it zoomed right off again...
