There's a thread on PUX about PUT, again. Someone asked if anybody had seen a PUT magazine lately and there is a variety of comments and answers. Some good, some not.

FYI - We publish PUT 6 times per year. We mailed our 3rd issue (V7#2) on June 28.  V7#3 will mail on Aug 31.

Thanks for the info Dave. :)

I spend most of my time lurking on both boards. PUX is a good board until the PUT topics appear, then it can get brutal.

Exactly.

I frequent there a lot (mostly reading) They also have slow times, they have their fights (Opps, sorry misunderstandings), it is just another board made up of people just like us. Some of my friends are there ....

It is a good board, more fights than here for my taste, people get carried away little bit more frequently ....

Mother of all boards is THE place to be though, at least for me. And I hope PUT will outlive all the other baords out there ! (I am allowed to wish right ? :)

PUT magazine is a great magazine.  I have learned so much from both it and this board.  It is the only magazine that I actually keep and refer back to.  Keep up the good work!

PUX is Pop Up Explorer

And I LIKE THEM BOTH....  So far I've seen this one is great for general chat and talking with those you have rallied with and learning about rallies.  I may see some more stuff once I lurk around more.

PUX has a lot of info about the pop ups and modifications, fixes.

I LIKE THEM BOTH

I just signed up the end of June can I please get a June issue of the PUT Mag sent to my address.

Thank You,
Bonnie

I'm not too sure about "brutal".... perhaps..... "passionate"? LOL. There are still folks that are bitter about this site going to a pay site....and it's understandable to me. What I don't understand is making a big issue of it. Those that want to stay here, fine... great even! Those that chose to not stay... it's their $$$, their prerogative.

What else is there to say? I'll share a campfire with most anyone from PUX, PUT, or where ever!

I have an opinion that the people over there posting about not getting their magazines or not much content or anything of value in it are the ones are the most bitter about this site going to a pay platform. They are so bitter that they have taken it upon themselves to bash Dave and the magazine at every opportunity and promote their own agenda,  whatever that is...revenge?

I like Camping Life also,  I like it a lot,  but you don't see those people complaining about all the ads in that magazine do you?  They are just bitter toward PUT,  and they must be able to hold grudges for a long long time............

I've lurked around PUX a little. Can't seem to get too excited about it! I like PUT, the magazine and the site! A LOT! Keep up the good work Dave! If the competition is talking about you, you're doing something right!

SkipP ~ I've camped with some of the folks you've shared a campfire with ...  I'm not picky either!  ;)

All I can say about the PUT/PUX thing is this ~  PUT is Home for me.

As a moderator on PUX, I have to say that most of the questions are about when the Pop-Up Times magazine will arrive, and very few are "bashing" PUT. I have informed the members about Dave's post about the mailing of the mag.
If they feel that they have to "bash" PUT, we have ways to resolve the problem....:compumad:

And, yes, I'd love to camp with members of both boards...if you'd camp closer to me!!!:eyecrazy:
