Back From Ralley

    Came back from ralley on tuesday. It was wet. Hope it cleared up for the rest of the campers staying until this weekend. It was nice meeting all of you there. Now it I can only remember you all.
 
   Had major problems at home while I was gone. Fire and flood has just about done us in. Fire was not major but flood was..

Fire AND Flood?  Oh my!  What a crummy thing to have to come back to!  Was it mostly basement damage? Let us know if there is anything you need!  Birol isn't the only one that get the benefit of having all of us here at PUT as his friends you know!

Luckily I am insured, and I did check that out before saying it. If you know what I mean. Thank you for your generous offer but it looks like we are doing Okay. The big problem now is where do I put all these people to sleep. My daughter and her two rug rats are living with us and have now moved to the first floor until the damage is taken care of down stairs.

You've got my empathies as well, coming home to something like that.  I hope that you get everyone and everything back in the proper places soon, with little damage.  Keep us posted as to how things are going, maybe there's something some of us can do to help.

You do have a camper don't you?  Why not put them up there?

It has been in mind now for two days. Will see how everything goes before using it. If it is used, I will gladly use it.

    It was nice meeting you also. You were so busy that we did not get to talk much. As for the home, we will be working on this mess until Christmas... Walls will be tornen out and replaced. Electrician will be in next week to rewire where fire was... If the rain don't stop we will go nuts. All in All I am very happy that no one was hurt and my house is still standing. We are also in the process of putting in a backup battery sump pump for future cases.. Sooooo you might say we are having fun or making new memories or both.

     Next time I hope will be soon. Sorry if I looked like was going to jump out of my skin when I was talking to you. Just needed to get home and see what was happening after two weeks on the road. Again, lets get together soon!

So sorry to hear the bad news. What a shock to go back home to bad news Put the DD and rugrats in the PU and let them enjoy camping on the back yard or driveway, it is perfectly acceptable if you ask me.
