I came across this project for and thought it would something cute for the kids to do while camping.  The only problem I would have is wasting marshmallows.

You know it is for the Mini-Marshmallows?
Not like you are wasting the good Somore ones....

I prefer the straight 1/2 PVC simple blowgun version. We've seen quite a few of the more complicated version shown in the link. Sooner or later a few marshmellows end up down in the hand grips and with the spit that allways gets in there makes a nasty mess. Real "gaak" factor when pulling one out of storage. That's why wind instruments other that straight tubes such as trumpets have spit valves.

You could nake it without any glue on the joints, but the caps tend to fly off when you blow.

Cool, then Derek could use this for feeding the racoons.  They wouldn't have to steal our smore fixins.:p

Well, as time marches on, everyone will outgrow the marshmallows and need something bigger & more powerful (it's our nature). So, in the interest of providing an upward growth path, here's a link provided to us by KENC (a few boards ago) for none other than SPUD GUNS!

(Always like helping the kids out!) LOL

Gone-Camping

Well, when the kids are long finished shooting Mini-Mello's around the campground, and night decends in the forest...the Racoons, Skunks, and other woodland creatures will enjoy cleaning up the left overs! :D

At first I thought, hey my 2 would love these, then thought about the aftermath... and I'm not real critter friendly with some of Nature's nocturnal beasts. With that in mind, I think I'll keep my mouth shut on this little device, the kids will never miss it!!! ;)

I saw these for sale in Old Orchard, Maine.  While it seemed like a really cute idea, I then pictured it in my six year old's hands...  I didn't buy it!  ;)

Campers3

Sounds fun, but I too will not be going there.

I'm thinking the hubby would have fun with it!  ;)
