The BIG RV Show in Harrisburg PA is coming soon! It's scheduled for 9/9 - 9/12.

Is there any interest to get a small group together and camp nearby?

We could have a fun filled weekend gawking at the thousands of campers. Last year we stayed at Rustic Meadows CG which is about a 1/2 hour away. It is now the Elizabethtown KOA. They have a nice lower loop that backs up to woods.

I personally like their "18 hole" golf course,  the first time I ever drove by there and saw that,  I vowed never to camp there because of false advertising!  Other than them bragging about that golf course,  it is a nice campground (the golf is nothing more than a nine hole pitch and put with two tee's for every hole,  full stroke with a PW and your going to take someones camper window out for sure!).  I'll pass on camping there myself, but would encourage anyone else that wants to camp there to do so.  

 
That RV show is going to be even bigger this year from what I understand,  they are going to expand the outside area again.  Is Dave planning on being there again I wonder?  If a group gets organized,  I might drop in for a visit to the show with everyone else,  that sounds like fun.

we can't go, ken might want to buy something! i thought I was safe last year since we already had the hybrid from the year before, but noooo,  we had to get a weekend retreat that we didn't have to pop up or out, so we got a 32ft TT, so we are not going for three.

Don't think we'll camp, as that would put us away from home for three weekends in a row, but we'll most likely go out for a day trip.

We will be there, but just for a day trip.  School will be in and we are camping on the holiday weekend.

It doesn't sound like there is enough interest to camp together. However, we can still schedule a time to meet on Saturday (9/11) in one of the various halls of the building. If you have an FRS radio at the show, please keep it on channel 7, sub channel 11 for communication. I'll post the exact time and location closer to those dates...

This should give everyone a chance to have a bite to eat and find the location. I'll check a site map and post the exact location and time in a couple of weeks. I'm  7'4" and will be wearing a No Fear t-shirt. So if anyone is planning an attack, don't mess with WWQ!

Other things have came up.  I have to fly to Atlanta over Labor Day weekend and my husband wouldn't want me to be gone two weekends in a row.

Can't give you a deal on a PU -- because, for some odd reason, Dewalts doesn't sell the Coachman PU's -- but I can give you a good deal on a TT or 5er!    My real name is Jim Wilson, so if you do opt to say hello I shouldn't be too hard to find.  

Note: I'll be going camping this weekend, and then right up to Harrisburg on the 7th, so I won't be able to respond to any posts until after I get back (which will be the 12th).
