It Is Final!!!

Received our DECREE OF ADOPTION today for our youngest daughter :-() :-() :# :# :! :! :S

I feel like a weight has been lifted off my chest.  Feel so light that I am almost dizzy.  Days like this are worth waiting for.  I'm so excited that I can't think of anything to say.

Thanks to everyone for their understanding and encouragement.

Oh my gosh!  She is SUCH a cutie!!  I'm so glad for you and your family, and especially Tori - who will be getting adopted into such a beautiful family!   Ya-hoo, God is good!

Congratulations!  She is so beautiful, but how could she not be with such a loving family!!!

Tonight we all went out and ate to celebrate.  We are so lucky to have her.  She is the dancer and singer in the family, likes to sing most of all.  She is the sweetest and most loving child, she loves everyone.  She asked my father "Papaw, when I grow up can I marry you?"  He just about cries when he tells people about it, he just turned 83.  Don't know why but she just loves him more than anything.  

I so hope that we get to come to the 2005 Eastern Rally, she loves  to camp also.

I know that exact set of feelings. I went through it with my son. He's 19 now but your post brought back all the memories of the nerves till the judge signed the final papers and the ABSOLUTE DELIGHT when he did.

Seems like just yesterday, god how time flies. Enjoy your new addition while you can.

Isn't it the most wonderful day in the world!  The adoption was filed on July 26, 2004.  Her fourth birthday was August 2, 2004.  My birthday was July 29, 2004.  It has just been a great time all around.
