H i everybody

Is anybody going camping on Labor Day Weekend?
We are thinking about it(a little late),since our family who has been visiting from Germany, for the last 3 1/2 weeks,is going back this Thursday.
We are trying to get a little mini vacation in,since I didn't really have any time off with the new job.
We did take our family to the Adirondacks for 4 days, tough, camping ,of course!

Maybe we try to go to North- South Lake,it's nice there and much closer than the ADK.

Hi Andy,

We also just back from the Adirondacks, Lake George and our favorite little town Old Forge !

We have  have reservations @ //www.ovresort.com New Jersey, this place though will be almost be like downtown, NY we will most likely head everyday over the Sea Aisle city and beach ourselves...it helps it's only minutes away !

Andy - we are in need of a trip also.  If you head up to North Lake, please let me know and maybe we'll join you for the weekend, or at least drive up for the day.  How 'bout the Newburgh KOA??  We have talked about that in the past...  Let us know and we'll see what we can do.  :)

we stayed at our normal place,(harmonyridge) had Travel Gal and her family up for the four days, the kids fished, went in the pool , lake, had fun in the game room, and cooked out on the open fire. they had smores every night, dogs on the stick for lunches and dutch oven cooking for dinners.  they had a band on Sunday and Bingo saturday night, so everyone had something to do.

Hi everybody

We ended up staying home, spend a day down the shore,it was beautiful.
Our son actually went camping from friday to monday, with his friends.
He was not to happy with the campground, they double-booked the site, etc. And that place was not cheap, you even had to buy there wood and not bring your own.His girlfriend called the first night and told me,
" Dad we're not going camping again without you".
But they made the best of it and had a good time with there friend's.

See you all at Hickory Run.

Tell Mike I am sorry that he didn't have a good trip and I agree that camping with you is a good thing.  I seem to recall you changing a tire for me. :)
