This Weekend!!!

Well, maybe, If all goes well this coming weekend I will be camping at Drummerboy Campgrounds again. That is if the Susquehanna River will let me. Today it will be 32 feet above flood stage. I only live 2 miles from the river. On the good side I hope. After the Ralley this past July, the BW and I decided it was good enought to try again. It was hard getting reservation for this weekend. Will be at site 142. Will anyone be there ?

Looks like it'll be a good weekend for camping if the flood waters recede.  I think many people from this area will be at Hickory Run State Park in the Poconos.  We just got back from a long weekend at the shore so we're sticking close to home this weekend to get things done -- or MAYBE we'll swing by Hickory Run to meet everyone.

I understand, I tried to get reservations there two or three weeks ago but they were booked for the pet sites. debbiedee1957 wrote me and stated she was giving up her pet site for another I guess but it is to late I am sorry to say.

BW has plans to do a lot of Christmas shopping this trip to Gettysburg. In a way it is kind of strange because my last trip out was at DrummerBoy (Ralley)and have not been out since because of all the problems with my homestead. We are just recovering from the fire and flood. Just had the carpet put in and new furniture is being delivered soon. Need to paint also. What a trip!!! So we are really looking forward to this trip. Even have the new water filter you recommended.
