Blackwater Falls, W. Va.

We are thinking of going to Blackwater Falls in W. Va. for a long weekend in October.  Has anyone been there?  Can you recommend a site/loop?  Water and electric?  Their web site has very little information other than a picture of a great looking pool.

We stayed at the lodge several years ago and had a great time.  We didn't have the camper yet, so we really didn't pay much attention to the loops while we rode our bikes around in them.  I do remember there weren't many trees, but that won't be as important in Oct.   The falls are gorgeous and there are other things around.  Hope you have a nice trip.

We stayed there in June.  Tha campground is nice, it's not very big.  It basically has sites all around this big field.  In the center of the field is the shower/bathroom.  I believe it only has electric, no water hook-ups.  We were at Site #1 and we really liked it.   There are trees behind the site.  I believe the whole campground allows pets.  It is VERY neat and clean.  

We are definately going back next year.  The park itself is beautiful.
