We made it home in just under 2 hours.  The trees were so beautiful in the sun with all of the fall colors.  Thank you all for a great trip.  We had so much fun, ahem, for the most part. (the little detour through all of the small towns...wellll) Can't wait to camp again, love that fall camping.

Yes it was a great time!  The trees are early this year...and so beautiful.  Albert & I voted that this trip was the best camping trip of the year for us...the company, the weather, the site, and even the hike...although it was a bit EXTREME!!!!

We got home safe and sound.  We had a great time  :)  and even the little bit of rain/drizzle Saturday night was OK.  I agree the trip was great fun.  I laughed a lot on Saturday night sitting around the campfire.  It was so nice out we didn't leave the campground until 2:30.  Packed up, hitched up and then socialized and had a picnic lunch with Bearbait.  Those of you that missed this trip missed a great time.  One thing I feel bad about is that I only saw AndyM86 for a minute. :(   Sorry about that.

Tracy,  I promise that we will camp next year aleast two times with the group ! This year has been crazy...Tracy I'm sorry when I learned my trip was cancelled, I had to make good with a friend who I also let down and being that his unit has been issued papers to be dispatch to serve in middle east anyday, I needed to see him off and extend my support to his family...with all that said when an where is the spring trip of 2005 set for ?

Adam what about this year.  2004 isn't over yet.  We have 2 more trips in the works for this year, :yikes: or are you done for the year.  :D

I'm home too, Raymond called as I was at the dump station, wondering if I was all right (I was), then he called again as I was trying to work my way over in three lanes of traffic from the mid county tolls (wouldn't you know, I managed to get myself in the left lane and had to work my way over. People were nuts out there, either driving like mainacs or go0ing so slow that even I could get around them going up hill (I am not talking about semis either...sunday drivers, on the blue route and the NE Extension.

I agree, I had a good time. Jeffrey was safely away in a place for the weekend where he was away from his love and where we knew where he was all the time (that is a change). I just wish Raymond were a little more social, I went to the dinner and campfire without him (that is not unusual). I have not laughed that hard in a while (at the campfire).

We made it home in about two hours with our little detour to my in-laws noth of Jim Thorpe.

I wanted to thank everyone that accepted us with open arms (everyone there this weekend).  This was a great group of people and we had a blast around the campfire Saturday night.  Even my two shy girls and parents enjoyed themselves tremendously!  We can't wait to camp with you all again soon!

Thanks again!

Do I have to actually check in that I made it home okay if I was never there "officially" to begin with?  We had a good time,  thanks to everyone for a fun weekend.  The group picture came out pretty well,  I'll get that posted shortly.

Andy,  we talked about a couple of campouts for next year this weekend.  One was a request by SheBantam to go white water rafting.  I'll work on finding some outfitters for that trip and a campground somewhere around Jim Thorpe.  Watch for that rally posting soon....the official "Paddle with Paula" rally.

Hey all!

I just got home an hour ago.  Steph and I left at 3:30 on the dot, we actually had another family waiting on the little road for our spot.  We went for a nice hike with andym86 and his crew (and all the doggies) and enjoyed the weather before we left.  I am sorry we didn't stay at the pot-luck campfire a little longer, but it was nice to see old faces again and put PUT names with new faces.  We got to my job at 6-ish (after stopping for dinner in PA) and Steph left in her truck and I had to work 6:30pm to 10:30pm.  It really sucked working the evening after camping in the morning.  Hope to see you guys again soon!

MTNDAVE

Glad to hear you all made it back. Needless to say we made it home to Mountaintop OK too.... and it took only 20 mins. HA HA !!!!

We didn't get back from Williamsport till late Sunday nite and I'm just now finding time to get posted.

In retrospect we are really sorry we didn't choose to drag the camper down for the weekend and have more time to spend with everyone. It was a great weather weekend (Tracy - I think the spell is broken).

Both Sharon and I enjoyed ourselves. Reaquainting ourselves with old friends and making new friends also. We only wish we would have had more time to spend with each and every one of you. What a GREAT bunch. We have to admit that we ate WAAAYYY too much of all those yummy dishes at the potluck.

I commend the "Fire Kings" on their 1st class job at tending the fire. Waking up Sunday morning to the aroma of campfire wafting from the closthes pile just kept the memory alive.

BTW.....I am still seeing Bright green tracers from that glow stick.

Once again COTOC has a great gathering memory.

Thanks again to all.

Hello everyone

We made it home ok ,too.It was slow going on Rt 80 East, where 380 and 80 get cramped into ONE lane!
Your tax dollars at work.
I am very sorry that we didn't make it to the Pot Luck to see everybody again. Like I told Rick and Steph ( saturday morning, when everybody went to the Lehigh Gorge) and possibly Paula(who I talked to friday morning, when I dropped off our camper) and Tracy(friday night, when I drooped off my son's camper),that we had to go to a 80 th Birthday party (my wife's former co-worker,really more like a second mother) and we didn't make it back ,until about 8 PM, much later than expected. Our arrival on friday night was a little late, too.
Although I dropped of our camper in the morning and went back home to pick up my wife(she had to work until 2PM) and my son's camper,we got stuck on Rt 80 about 12 miles or so,before the HR exit.I guess we had a fuel vapor lock and after sitting for about 30 to 45 min.and cooling down, everything was ok.
We were looking forward to seeing everybody again, but just not enough time.We got to walk the doggies with Rick and Steph on Sunday morning
and the weather was beautiful.
Hope to see Tracy, Rick and Steph, the Wade Family and everybody else soon.

Andy
