welcome to geocaching!  You all will have a good time.  More and more caches are being hidden all the time.

Debbieedee1957,

HA HA !!!!!!   The sucessful and devious plot to entrap innocent, outdoorsey types to addict themselves to Geocaching continues.  We will have you ALL sooner or later. :Z

Symptoms of a serious case of Geo-fever are:  What kind of GPSr to get, searching for that first cache to do and another reason to be glued to the monitor surfing till all hours.  :yikes:

As I reside in kinda the same part of Penns Woods as you give me a shout if you need any help or are looking for a caching partner.  I cache all over NE, N. Central, Central and SE Pa.

A little self-promotion...;) ...my caches in Mountaintop & Danville.

I've been caching on and off for the last 3 or so years. Got Nick and CA-Girl from NNC hooked. We went camping this past weekend and it was Nick's first one. He had a blast.

We found Pigeon's Roost and Marsh Maracas.

Here's my self promotion:

Sounds of the Bay
Take-a-Peak
Short and Winding Road

CA-Girl's:

Sacramento Bee

Happy Geocaching all and you won't find any unless you go out there!

Surfcal

P.S.  We should start a PUT Members cache site thread and maybe we can find the caches of PUT members.

I had a great time caching!  And yes I'm hooked now too.  Been looking around for a GPS.  I like the Garmin that Surfcal has and will probably get one like it.

It's a ways down in the pics...towards the end of the first 100 posted in Trip "out west".

The cache was located just outside the NP entrance of South Rim, Grand Canyon NP.

It was fun looking for & then actually locating the cache and looking inside!!!!!
