Paula call right away to make your reservations.  Most of the sites are gone now.  They did have the handicap electric site left.  Beckie is on 54 and I am on 53.  Here are the open sites 51 and 52, 26, 33. 34, 46, and 73.

Lee is coming too and calling to make his reservation. :eyecrazy:

I got 51 since it is a little bigger than 52. I will take out most of the electronics this week. Maybe if we put Lee between us,we can keepa better eye on him.

I will be arriving on Thursday and leaving on Monday. Because this is a NO PET park, Raymond will stay home with Cookie, unless my 25 year old will take her home for the weekend (or stay here). But he does not want the drive.

tlhdoc

Well we are all in a row, except Dave.  51 to 54 are our sites. :)

Does anyone else want to join us on this last minute trip???

Come on it will be fun. :)

Dave if anyone needs to recharge their battery can we use your electric?  It is easier to bring a charger than to bring the extra batteries. :)

PS:  We (at least I will) will try and be on good behavior, so we don't scare your friends away. ;)  :D

I bought one of those jumper/inverter/air compressor thingees today, so I think I will be OK.

How long will a 200amp inverter running off the trailer battery run a small crock pot? Long enough to make a pot roast? Or will the inverter blow??? I have no idea.  I also got a propane lantern and extra propane. I am going to throw one of those big tanks in the truck incase it is cold and I need to run the heater.

My gray water valve is broken (thank goodness it is not the blck water) so I am NOT filling up, will use bottles and fill my little tank. I have an old fashioned stove top perk and a french press, soasfar as my coffee, I'll be in good shape...I did not know camping was this much thinking...still thinking about the tent and the minivan and the double high 4 minute bed.

SheBantam

OK,which way do I come??
NE Extension to I 80? OR through Lancaster to 283 to Harrisburg and from there, I'm not sure...

Anybody else comingin on Thursday?

tlhdoc

If it were me I would go 476 to I-80 to I-180 toward Williamsport and Muncy (north or west).  I think the exit number is 212A.  [/COLOR]If you miss I-180 and get to RT 15 (the next exits) you can take 15 north.  Both I-180 and RT 15 will take you to Williamsport, but if you go on 15 you will have to go up and down Bald Eagle Mountain.  Follow 15 N to Williamsport and 15 N/220/I-180 are all the same road.  By taking I-180 you will not have the steep climb.  RT 220 will merge with I-180 before Williamsport.  Just stay on the beltway through Williamsport and the road becomes just 220.  Follow 220 past the town of Jersey Shore (2 exits) and the next exit is for RT 44.  Take 44 North for about 10 miles.  Then turn onto 4001 for about 3.5 miles.  Turn onto English Run Road and you are there.

I think you will be the first one there, again. :yikes: I think the rest of us are getting there on Friday.  It will be dark before I get there.  I will not be able to leave here until 6pm at the earliest.  Even if DS doesn't go I will go see him when I get home from work.  :)

Tracy, Remember, if he does not come, you can bunk with me Friday night and set up the next AM, I will have the queen, the full and leaving the microwave and toaster oven at home, I'll also have the mini twin, small dinette.

By the way, what is the name of this rally?

Geeezzzzz..... I go away for a couple of days and got a whole lotta catchin' up on this thread.
Actually you all have the high ground and won't be too far away and will be looking down on our Site #71. Too bad about only dry sites left. I know we made our reservations a while ago and couldn't get the exact site I wanted. The plus side is your your sites are closer to the nice new bathrooms.

Looking in todays Williamsport Papers Sunday Outdoor section I discovered a sizeable article detailing the Little Pine State Park Fall Festival. The don't list it on the park activity links (don't know why) It is on Sunday 10/10, from 11:00am to 4:00pm and will have everything from displays, movies, vendors, bike & kayak demo/lessons, Native drum making and much more. Sounds like a pretty big event. May explain the limited sites available. Also sounds like a bunch of fun.

Paula, guess you are going to beat us there by a day. We'll get there Friday afternoon. I tried to get off Thursday, but alas work takes first tibs. With so many at HR, Sharon & I didn't get to spend too much time with anyone, including you. Sorry. Don't fret, I promise to leave my "Freddie" outfit at home. We don't bite.

!!!!! Birthday !!!!!! I quit counting a long time ago.....but we make you tell us.

For those left looking for sites. Tracy listed the sites available as:
Here are the open sites 51 and 52, 26, 33. 34, 46, and 73.
===> #73 is a pretty sizeable site w/ grass and right next to the site we had last time. It's on the lower part of the loop right by the bend.
===> #26 is up the other end of the CG and more in the open.
===> #33 is right next to the old Cemetery (spooky) and last time I was there it also had a big pile of logs/brush next to it. Not good fire fodder. Pile may be gone now.
===>#46 is right across from the bathroom. I seem to remember it was more of a tent size site. But maybe I'm wrong, call and ask.

Water was a bit brackish out of the pumps so bring your drinking/cooking water.

My Birthyear is in my signature line...I'll let you do the math.

Should I bring my infatable kayak?? I need to find a life vest, I guess I will have to go to the boatus store at lunch. I live in the big city (not as big as Dee's).

Raymond is vacilating...again. He may show up Saturday AM...then again, he may not.
